Two new companies to carry out government projects in Oman: Tanfeedh

Muscat: Two government funded companies will be established to carry out government projects, under a proposal from Tanfeedh.
The first project managing companies will be dedicated to infrastructure projects of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The other will execute other ministries' projects, according to Muneer Al Muneeri, an official at the State General Reserve Fund.
Asked if the new companies will be competitors to local private companies, he said that they will be "flooded with government projects".
