Weather update: Rains over several parts of Oman

Muscat: A number of the Sultanate 's wilayats witnessed rains yesterday, ranging from medium to heavy, with expectations that it will continue today. .

The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) said in a statement online: "Recent weather and satellite radar images illustrate the flow of clouds on the Hajar Mountains with varying rainfall and heavy thunderstorms, sometimes on the Western Hajar Mountains and adjacent areas."

"Rain clouds continue to flow to Musandam, Al Batinah and parts of Al Buraimi governorates. Low clouds and fog are also present in parts of the governorate of Al Dakhiliyah, Dhahirah, Al Wusta and parts of the coast of Oman Sea with isolated rains on the coast of Dhofar governorate," PACA added.
