Five arrested for crimes in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) have arrested four expatriates for theft and another for sabotage and theft of a number of shops.

The ROP said in a statement: "Muscat Police Command arrested a person for vandalism and theft from several shops and the Department of Crime Prevention seized four persons of Arab nationality who are accused of theft."

ROP added: "Legal procedures against the accused are underway."
