Kuwait: Six Omani craft products bagged top positions in the competition of the Award of the World Crafts Council (WCC) for Craft Excel 2016, organised in Kuwait.
The award is the most distinguished one at the Asian and Pacific ocean countries’ level in the field of advanced and traditional craft industries.
More than 250 craft products from the various Asian and the Pacific countries entered the competition. International and regional organisations and institutions also participated in the event. The Omani winning products included a masar, pottery pots, silver frankincense pot, jewellery and silver works, wood and silver pots for serving Omani Halwa and a pen made of local wood.
