Tariq named 'Outstanding Entrepreneur Who Believes in the Spirit of Giving' in Dubai

Muscat: Omani entrepreneur Tariq Hilal Al-Barwani has been awarded with the "Outstanding Entrepreneur Who Believes in the Spirit of Giving", at an event held in Dubai as a dedication to His Highness Shiekh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoom, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Emir of Dubai.
The Global Giving Awards ceremony was specifically created to award individuals that make difference to the people and impact to the planet with purpose.
"Doing business or creating an initiative for the sake of making money was never an only interest to me. Doing good and making impact to the lives of people is what I enjoy doing most," said Tariq Al-Barwani, founder of Knowledge Oman.
Tariq was selected for his various contributions to the betterment of education and society as a whole.
Tariq is an investor, social entrepreneur, and motivational speaker. He serves as an advisor on the boards of academic institutions and is also the founder of the largest community platform in the Sultanate, Knowledge Oman. Tariq has previously been featured among the ten exemplary personalities from across the Arab World in the book 'Arabs Unseen', authored by Mohammed Mahfoodh Al Ardhi.
