Muscat: The Muscat Muncipality has urged citizens and residents against driving vehicles and bikes on beaches of Oman and imposed penalties for violators. A statement issued online by the Muscat Muncipality said: “Driving vehicles or bikes on the beaches is violating the law and it exposes you to accountability.” "Anyone who violates this will be punished by a fine or imprisonment for a term not exceeding two months." Muscat Municipality added.
