Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has sent a cable of condolences to President Pranab Mukherjee of the Republic of India for the victims of train accident which derailed in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
In his cable, His Majesty the Sultan has expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to President Mukherjee, families of the victims and the Indian people, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has also sent a cable of condolences to President Prokopis Pavlopoulos of Republic of Greece on the death of the former Greek President, Costis Stephanopoulos.
In his cable, His Majesty the Sultan has expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy to President Pavlopoulos, the deceased family and the Greek people.
