Oman football: Saham face Fanja in His Majesty’s Cup last 16 stage

Muscat: The match between Saham and Fanja will be the one to watch for in the last 16 stage of His Majesty’s Cup Football Championship.
The draw for the last 16 stage was conducted at the Oman Football Association Headquarters on Monday under the auspices of Saad Musa Al Jenaib, General Manager of the Qatar National Bank, and in the presence of OFA first vice-chairman Mohsin bin Hamad Al Masroori and Sheikh Shabib Al Hosni, Chairman of the Competitions Committee and CEO of Omantel Professional League.
The last 16 matches will be played on December 9 and 10.
Defending champions Saham and record nine-time champions Fanja will clash at Sohar Sports Complex on December 9.
The day’s other matches will see Al Nahda taking on Oman, Dhofar playing Al Hamra, Muscat meeting Bausher.
On December 10, Jaalan will play Sohar, Nizwa take on Al Khabourah, Suwaiq square off against Al Mudhaibi and Al Shabab face Al Salam.
