House raided in Oman for illegal furniture works

Muscat: Muscat Municipality in coordination with the Royal Oman Police raided a house in Al Amerat, where expatriate workers illegally conducted carpentry activities.

In a statement issued online Municipality said: “Muscat Municipality in Al Amerat in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police raided a residential building where expat workers were conducting illegal activity of furniture upholstery in violation of the Municipal laws and regulations of commercial activities and the uses of residential buildings.”

“The municipality has taken law procedures against the violators and investigation is underway.”
