Chances of isolated rain over Oman

Muscat: There is a chance of isolated rain in Al Wusta and Dhofar governorates, Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA) informed on Wednesday.

In a statement online, PACA said: “The aerial picture shows cumulus clouds are currently spreading on South Al Sharqiyah and Al Wusta Cengovernorates with low clouds on the coasts of Dhofar Governorate.

“Wednesday’s weather forecast is a clear to partly clouds skies over the Governorates of Al Wusta and Dhofar with chances of isolated rain occasionally thundershowers. Mainly clear skies over rest of the Governorates with chance of clouds Development over Al Hajar Mountains towards afternoon,” the statement added.

“Winds will be northerly light to moderate occasionally fresh along the coastal areas of Musandam Governorate and Oman Sea and over the rest of the Sultanate winds will be southeasterly light to moderate.” PACA added.
