Oman Cricket: Assarain, Passage to India record victories

Muscat: Assarain and Passage to India recorded victories over Al Turki and Raha CT respectively in the Oman Cricket's Muscat Pharmacy and Stores-sponsored Premier Division Twenty20 League.
In a match played at the Ministry of Sports Affairs Ground I, Assarain defeated Al Turki by four wickets. Batting first, Al Turki put on 141 for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. Ajay Lalcheta top scored with 35. Zeeshan Maqsood claimed three wickets for Assarain.
In reply, Assarain scored 145 for six in 17.2 overs. Ramkumar Pandarathil top scored with 56. Gopendra Bohara claimed three scalps for Al Turki.
Brief scores: Al Turki 141 for 6 in 20 overs (Ajay Lalcheta 35; Zeeshan Maqsood 3/17) lost to Assarain 145 for 6 in 17.2 overs (Ramkumar Pandarathil 56; Gopendra Bohara 3/17). Points: Assarain – 4, Al Turki – 0.
Meanwhile, Passage to India handed Raha CT a 29-run defeat. Batting first, Passage to India managed to score 148 for six in 20 overs. Mohammed Shabbir top scored with 36. Mehtab Hussain claimed three wickets for Raha.
In reply, Raha were bowled out for 119 in 18.4 overs. Khurram Khan top scored with 62. Jaymin Tailor claimed three wickets for Passage to India.
