Muscat: Coastguards arrested 11 Asian expatriates who attempted to smuggle diesel using two boats in Musandam, Royal Oman Police reported.
An ROP source said the boats had additional tanks to smuggle out the fuel.
Meanwhile, four Asian expatriates were arrested near Musandam coast for fishing in a banned fishing area.
The accused were undocumented men, according to the ROP.
