Oman, Saudi Arabia hold talks

Muscat: Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu'amani, Minister of the Royal Office yesterday received Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Defence Minister in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and his accompanying delegation.
The two sides exchange conversations on the march of the fraternal relations binding the Sultanate and the sisterly KSA. They also reviewed a range pf fields of the joint cooperation and means of enhancing them to achieve the joints interests of the two countries, besides touching on several matters of common concern.
An official session of talks was held at the Ministry of Defence in Mu’askar Bait Al Falaj yesterday between Sayyid Badr bin Saud Al Busaidi, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs and Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Defence Minister in Saudi Arabia.
The two sides reviewed the relations between the two countries. They also discussed existing cooperation between the two ministries of defence and exchanged views on several matters of common concern to serve the interests of the two countries.
The talks was attended by Lt.Gen Ahmed bin Harith Al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, Maj.Gen Mattar bin Salim Al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman, the KSA Ambassador and the Military Attaché at the KSA Embassy in Muscat.
