Muscat to get heavy rains today

The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) on Sunday urged to take all precautions against potential thundershower in many parts of Oman that could reduce visibility.

“Due to the expected continuous heavy thundershower over Musandam, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Al Buraimi, Al Dhakiliyah, Al Dhahira, and Muscat governorate."- PACA

PACA added that the thundershowers could be accompanied by fresh winds, hail, flash floods and reduction in horizontal visibility.

The public is advised to monitor online official weather reports and to follow PACA safety instructions.
