Invest Easy helps improve transactions in Oman

Muscat: Invest Easy system has led to transactions with high rates of accuracy among the concerned parties, and helped authorities to make their decisions based on high quality data, said Hamad bin Salem Al Shekeli, the director of the directorate general of commerce and industry in South Batinah province.
The system also contributed to treating the matter of multiple registers and improved the business environment for investors, he added.
Salem Al Shekeli said: “We discussed some notes that came from investors about the price disparity between the offices that present the same services, also urging the owners to use the authority given to the office to finish transactions, instead of registering with the civil ID of the investor where the service will be self-service.”
“Further the challenges facing the owners of these offices were discussed, and we went through spotting some violations committed by the employees therein related to trade names, and they were notified that it is highly important to maintain strict controls of the trade name,” he added.
