Muscat: The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has announced that a low pressure trough is likely to affect weather over the Sultanate from Saturday.
According to PACA, weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chances of rain and occasional thoundershowers associated with with fresh winds.
PACA said in a weather report, "Weather analysis in the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre indicates that a trough of low pressure located south of Iran will will affect the Sultanate from Saturday to Monday, 11 November 2019.
The weather forecast for Friday predicted mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chances of cloud development and isolated rain over Musandam governorate and Al Hajar mountains during the afternoon.
