Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has received a cable of greetings from State Council Chairman Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Majlis Al Shura Chairman Khalid bin Hilal bin Nasser Al Ma’awali, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs Sayyid Badr bin Saud bin Harib Al Busaidi and Inspector General of Police and Customs Lt-Gen Hassan bin Mohsen Al Shraiqi for the 46th Glorious National Day.
In his cable, Dr. Mantheri said: “On the occasion of the 46th National Day, on my behalf and on behalf of honourable members of the State Council and its employees, it gives me a great honour to extend sincere congratulations to Your Majesty coupled with our heartfelt prayers for the return of this and similar happy occasions on your Majesty while Your Majesty enjoying good health, happiness and a long life and to grant the Omani people under Your Majesty’s prosperous reign continuous progress and welfare.”
Your Majesty the Sultan,”Day after day, Oman is gaining more glory and growth while its people maintain their natural brotherhood and love for everyone. It is natural thus that they managed to turn their aspirations into reality under Your Majesty’s
blessed era.”
Your Majesty the Sultan, “Under Your Majesty’s prosperous reign Oman has revived its glorious past. Omanis thus have the right to feel proud of their country and Sultan. The Renaissance that started in the 70s of the last century restored glory of this country by adopting a domestic policy that is based on belief in Allah and focusing on the Omani man, as well as a foreign policy that is based on love, respect and promotion of welfare, love and peace in the world.”
Your Majesty the Sultan,”While Oman celebrates this dear occasion, we remember with pride and esteem that great achievements in the various parts of the Sultanate. It is also a time to feel proud of the blessed steps accomplished by the Sultanate in terms of investing in the infrastructure to diversify sources of national economy. On top of such investments comes the investments made to rehabilitate human resources and qualify them to lead the growth and sustainable development in our dear country. We pray to Allah the All Mighty to support Your Majesty in the endeavours made to do good for Oman, its loyal people and the Arab and Islamic Ummah as well.”
Congratulations
Chairman of Majlis Al Shura said in his cable, “On the occasion of the 46th glorious National Day, we pray to Allah the Almighty to protect you and grant you good health, wellness and a long life. It gives me a great honour, to extend on behalf of Majlis Al Shura, chairman, members and secretariat general to Your Majesty the warmest congratulations and blessings accompanied by the noble feelings expressing appreciation, gratitude and loyalty to your wise leadership, which has sent the light and the brightness of a young, and civilised Renaissance throughout the homeland, full of giving, love for the nation and faithfulness.”
He added that the Shura march that you laid its first foundations, is progressing as Your Majesty wished, with advanced and confident steps towards further sincere involvement with the wise government, coupled with togetherness and continuous cooperation at all levels, for the progress, strength and stability of this dear country, and its distinguished citizens.” He said in his cable, “Your Majesty have furnished constant fundamentals in the field of foreign policy, followed clear approach in the political vision of Oman, today the Sultanate is enjoying what the eyes of Your Majesty stayed watchful for, till Oman has become an example in the fair and balanced policy, and respect for freedom of expression among the friendly nations
and people.”
He concluded his cable by saying, “As we witness the glories of the Omani Renaissance and its achievements in various sectors, we pledge Your Majesty to work hard and loyal, doing our best to achieve your endeavour, to be loyal to Your Majesty, praying to Allah the Almighty to grant you success and may Allah lead your steps on the straight path, and bestow upon you grace, blessings, good health , happiness and a long life and make all the days of the Sultanate full of joys and happiness under your wise leadership for this generous country and for the return of this and similar occasions on Your Majesty for many years to come.”
In his cable, the Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs said: “Your Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, the 18th of movement is a national occasion that makes us remember with pride the achievements made so far and look forward to more brighter and prosperous future. On the occasion of the 46th glorious National Day, I am honoured to extend my greetings and those of the brave armed forces and all employees of the Ministry of Defence to Your Majesty, praying to Allah the Almighty to bestow on Your Majesty and dear Oman this happy occasion while Your Majesty enjoying good health and welfare and this country in continuous progress and prosperity.
“Your Majesty the Sultan, Oman and its loyal people celebrate the 46th glorious National Day at a time Oman, thanks to Your Majesty’s wise leadership, has become the state of law and institutions where justice and order prevail. Oman is moving forward with balance towards achieving its comprehensive development. The solid foundations Your Majesty has laid over the past 46 years have started fruition as the comprehensive renaissance has reached Omanis wherever they are on this giving land.
“Your Majesty the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, While Your Majesty’s armed forces celebrate the 46th glorious National Day, they are confident of their capabilities and potentials as they have managed, over the past years, to achieve impressive leap thanks to the good armament program, the high quality training provided to the national cadres and enhancing the values of sacrifice to defend the sacred sites of our dear homeland and their contribution to achieving the security and stability, affirming their readiness to carry out the duties assigned to them.
“Your Majesty the Sultan, the valiant Armed Forces of Your Majesty and personnel of the Ministry of Defence while celebrating this national occasion renew their loyalty, allegiance and obedience to Your Majesty, praying to Allah the Almighty to grant Your Majesty good health, happiness and a long life”.
The Inspector General of Police and Customs said in his cable, “Your Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, the Supreme Commander, it gives me and that of the personnel of the Royal Oman Police (ROP) the honour to extend sincere congratulations on the occasion of the 46th glorious National Day, praying to Allah the Almighty for the return of this and similar happy occasions on your Majesty with good health and happiness, Oman and its people with continuous progress and prosperity.
He added, “Your Majesty the Sultan, the will of Allah the Almighty wished that goodness is achieved for his worshippers in this dear country “Oman” at the hands of Your Majesty, so you initiated, with high mettle and with your usual insight , the national action from the first day of the blessed Renaissance, thus achievements continued, and the construction gets larger and bigger on stable and strong foundations that are built by your great wisdom and strong will, assured -thanks be to Allah- the soundness of approach, clarity of the path and the sustainability of the greater goodness that you wish for this homeland, your people and all humanity.
“The ROP at various ranks and levels, as they enjoy, along with all Omanis and those who live on the soil of this dear country, the shades of your auspicious era, they appreciate and thank the graces of Allah the Almighty, they are keen to protect those graces by protecting the security of
their homeland, and its distinguished people.”
Lt-Gen Hassan bin Mohsen Al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs concluded his cable, by saying, “Your Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said May Allah support you and lead your steps on the straight path, bestow on you happiness and prosperity, wishing everybody a welfare.
