​Oman crime: Man held for drug smuggling

Muscat: An Asian was arrested by Royal Oman Police for smuggling psychotropic tablets.
The Directorate General of Narcotics Control arrested an Asian expatriate for smuggling psychotropic substances via Muscat International Airport. He tried to hide the drugs in his suitcase.
Similarly, the DG of Narcotics Control arrested an African national in Ghubra area, Muscat, for possession, use and peddling of narcotics. Officers found heroin in his possession.
