Earthquake reported 147 km from Khasab in Oman

A mild earthquake, measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale, hit Arabian Gulf at 4 am on Monday morning.

This was revealed by the seismological centre at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).

The centre at SQU said that the epicentre was approximately 147 kilometres from Khasab, Musandam governorate.
