Earthquake reported 147 km from Khasab in Oman

Muscat: A mild earthquake — measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale — hit Arabian Gulf at 4 am on Monday morning, according to the seismological centre at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).

The centre at SQU said that the epicentre was approximately 147 kilometres from Khasab, Musandam governorate.
