Graduation ceremony to be held at Sultan Qaboos University

Muscat: The 30th graduation ceremony of Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) will be held on 11 and 25 November under the patronage of Mohammed bin Al Zubair, Advisor to His Majesty the Sultan for Economic Planning Affairs. The total number of students graduating this year from the nine colleges at SQU is 2,922.
The number of graduates from each college is as follows: College of Agricultural & Marine Sciences 235; College of Arts & Social Sciences 590; College of Economics & Political Science 427; College of Education 419; College of Engineering 447; College of Law 203; College of Medicine & Health Sciences 153; College of Nursing 90; and, College of Science 358.
In the first ceremony on 11 November, as many as 1,283 graduates from the College of Agricultural & Marine Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Medicine, College of Nursing and College of Science will receive their degrees from the chief guest.
The figure of 2,922 consists of 2,383 who secured bachelor’s degree, 383 master’s degree, 40 PhDs and 116 MD graduates.
