US praises Oman’s efforts in fight against terror

Washington: The US Department of State reaffirmed that the Sultanate is a significant regional and international partner in combating terrorism in the Middle East.
The US Department of State praised the Sultanate’s continued efforts for the third year in a row to this effect, according to its annual report, released on its website, on the world efforts in combating terrorism.
The report added that the Sultanate has issued a number of official statements denouncing the terrorist attacks the world witnessed in 2018.
The report added that the security services have played a key role in safeguarding Oman against terrorist threats.
