Cyclone Kyarr: Cracks appear on corners of Muttrah Corniche

Muscat: Muscat Municipality said that its specialists will look into rectifying any and all damage caused by Cyclone Kyarr soon, after a concerned citizen reached out to them via social media and notified them of the issue.

The citizen, Nasr Albusaidi, alerted Muscat Municipality and said: “To brothers in Muscat Municipality, this move and vibration of the surface in Muttrah Corniche due to waves of tropical cyclone Kyarr worrying and dangerous and had to remedy it before it collapsed and hurt passers on it. (Sic)”

And the Municipality replied saying: "Thank you Nasr and your feedback is appreciated and will be dealt with by reference to specialists in the Municipality of Muscat and will be done the necessary.”
