Cricket: Wins for Deloitte, EY

Muscat: Deloitte and EY scored wins in the Al Yam Enterprises Auditors Cricket Cup. Deloitte beat HC Shah in the first match, while EY eased past IBN Hayan in the match that followed.
Put into bat first, HC Shah scored 64 runs for the loss of four wickets in 8 overs. Nikhil top scored with unbeaten 31 runs. Atif claimed three wickets for Deloitte, who chased down the target in the seventh over. Majid led the run chase with 26 runs.
Atif of Deloitte was declared the man of the match.
In the second match, EY put into bat amassed 107 runs with Soud remaining unbeaten on 31 and Omar contributing 36 runs.
In reply, IBN Hayan could manage only 62 for 4 in 8 overs to lose by 45 runs.
Soud walked away with the man of the match trophy.
