Five people arrested in Oman for hunting Arabian Tahr

Muscat: Wildlife observer teams arrested five people for hunting Arabian Tahr from the reserve in wilayat Qurayyat.

The Office of Conservation of the Environment at the Diwan said in a statement online: "Wildlife observers in the office in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police managed to arrest five suspects from one family and caught them in the case of hunting of a number of Arabian Tahr within the scope of the Ras Al Shajar reserve in Qurayyat which is managed by the office."
