“Wanted” perfume can be carried to London, says Oman Air

Muscat: In a fresh notice, Oman Air, the national carrier of Oman, said that passengers and its crew members can carry “Wanted”, a perfume by Azzaro, to London.
“Please be informed that Azzaro perfume “Wanted” will be allowed through security at London Heathrow Airport but Vikto & Rolf perfume “Spicebomb” remains prohibited as it comes in a black bottle and will not be allowed through security,” a notice from the airline posted on its official twitter handle read.
On October 26, the airline had issued a notice banning both perfumes stating that the shape of these perfume bottles have an appearance that could cause concern; if the crew members and/or passengers are found to be carrying these items, they will be confiscated by airport security.
It also has said then that the retail outlets within London Heathrow terminals have been instructed to remove these items from sale and the London Heathrow website is being updated to reflect these instructions.
