Muscat: Adrian Sina and his eight-member band called Akcent, performed live in front of an audience of about 2,000 people at the Cave Gardens on Friday.
A popular DJ, producer and live performer, Sina has given the world songs, such as 'That’s My Name', 'Stay with Me', 'Love stoned', 'How Deep is your Love', 'French Kiss', and 'King of Disco'.
“This is my first time in Oman, just arrived very early this morning and after a bit of sleep I started to shoot a music video for my next single that will be released in the coming months.”
“I have to say that so far Oman is very different from what I had expected, beautiful places and warm people everywhere, I must admit it was love at first sight with the country. It is so different and more beautiful than any of the Middle East territories and I have to thank ‘Tour Oman’ for arranging such a beautiful trip,” he said.
Before coming to Oman, Sina was in his Romania, his home country and said had a wonderful journey to Oman. “I had a more than a pleasant journey with Turkish Airlines to Muscat, from Romania. The night before my travel to Oman I was in the capital city of Bucharest, doing a show at one of the most popular venues in the city.”
Before coming to Oman, Sina said he had very little information about the country. “I have to admit that I did not know much about Oman before coming here, I had scattered information from what I saw on TV and what my friends from India have told me stories about.”
“Usually before a show I gather all my energy and try relaxing a little just before going on stage, but I do look forward to meeting my new friends in Muscat after the show and even tomorrow while I will be shooting the music video in Muscat, and on this occasion I hope to see more of the beautiful city and make new friends.”
Sina also had a message for his fans. “I would like to thank everyone for the love and support shown over the years and the thousands of messages received from Oman.” After the concert and shooting the music video, Sina will head to Vienna. “Tomorrow night, after we finish shooting the music video shoot, I will be heading to Vienna in Austria where I will be working on new music to be released next year.”
When he is not working, Sina loves spending time with his family, “I love spending time with my family, my beautiful wife and five children. We go to the movies, ride bicycles, play soccer and many more family activities.”
“We also love to travel and see the world and I hope soon I will come back to Oman with them and show them your beautiful country that I am enjoying so much right now. Once again, many thanks to Oman Tourism and Dunes by the Al Nahra Resort for having me here in this amazing place.”
