The new Philippine visa stickers will be issued starting from October 2019.
This was revealed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“For citizens and residents, the Philippine Embassy in Muscat has approved the adoption of two machine-readable visas as of October 2019. The new visas are of two types, with or without the applicant's image, both of which are valid at present.” - Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Moreover, for citizens and residents about the Schengen visa, the Italian Embassy in Muscat said that as of December 12, 2019, the visa sticker will be changed to the new format.
