Bus crash near Saudi’s Mecca kills 35

Riyadh: 35 pilgrims have been killed in a bus crash near the Muslim holy city of Mecca, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

According to SPA, four others in the bus were injured in the crash.

Quoting Saudi police officials, the agency said the incident happened around 7PM on Wednesday on the road linking Mecca to the city of Medina.

SPA without giving further details said the bus was carrying Asian and Arab nationals.
