Oman tennis: Fatma Al Nabhani advances in Morocco

Muscat: Omani star tennis player Fatma Al Nabhani found success both in the singles and doubles competitions of the $10,000 Casablanca ITF Pro Circuit tournament in Morocco on Tuesday.
According to information received here, the Omani girl moved into the second round of the singles and entered the quarterfinals of the doubles in the company of Spanish lass Olga Parres Azcoitia.
In the singles, second seeded Fatma defeated Amandine Cazeaux in straight sets 6-3, 6-3.
In the second round match to be played on Wednesday, Fatma will take on Spain’s Marta Garcia Gausi.
In the doubles first round match, Fatma and Olga defeated local duo of Lamioe Aziz and Oumaima Aziz 6-1, 6-1.
In the quarterfinals to be played on Wednesday, Fatma and Olga will face Inasse Hamouti of France and Kerstin Peckl of Austria.
