Muscat: A 15-year-old Omani boy who almost drowned in Wadi Halban in Wilayat Nakhal, was rescued by locals.
The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) said that the child was successfully rescued by people in the area, before being rushed to hospital in 'critical condition'.
In a statement, PACDA said: "Following reports of the near-drowning of a 15-year-old in Wadi Halban in Wilayat Nakhal, by the time PACDA officials arrived at the scene, locals had already rescued the victim.”
“The boy was then rushed to hospital in 'critical condition’,” the statement added.
