This Omani village turns into an island

Muscat: This village in Rustaq has become an island after being surrounded by flowing wadis on all sides.

Photographer Jalal Saif Al Dhouyani, took a photo of Al Hashah village in wilayat Al Rustaq, South Al Batinah Governorate, where several parts of it were surrounded by water after heavy rainfall witnessed in the wilayat yesterday.

Yesterday the wilayats of Seeb, Bawshar, Muttrah, Muscat, Amerat, Bidbid, Samail, Rustaq, Barka, Musnah, Nakhal, Sohar, Saham, Khaboura, Liwa, and Shinas witnessed rainfall ranging from light to heavy leading to the flowing of a number of wadis.
