Muscat: A Class III student of Indian School Seeb has been admitted to surgical department in Khoula Hospital following an accident on the school campus on Sunday afternoon.
According to the parents, the child was dragged by a bus for around 1.5 meters as he was trying to enter the bus and fell down accidentally.
“His bag got tangled with the bus. He was dragged for a few meters. The driver was not aware of it. However, his brother ran to the front of the bus and alerted the driver who stopped the bus,” Abdul Latheef, father of the injured child, told Times of Oman.

The child has suffered cracks on pelvis bones and is suffering from urine difficulty.
“It seems we are going through a tough time. While rushing to the hospital in ambulance, we had another accident as the ambulance hit another vehicle and we were all thrown away from the seat inside the vehicle. The injured child got shaken too,” Latheef said.
Meanwhile, an official from the school said it was purely an accident and the child is recovering.
Last Thursday, six people, including three Indian school Nizwa Class II students, a teacher and two Omani drivers lost their lives in an accident in Nizwa. Another child from the same class in the school, is still undergoing treatment for his injuries.
