HM the Sultan's greetings conveyed to Tunisian president

Tunis: President Beji Caid Essebs of the Tunisian Republic received at Carthage Palace on Thursday Sheikh Nasser bin Hilal bin Nasser Al Ma'awali, Chairman of the State's Financial and Administrative Audit Institution (SFAI) during a reception for the heads of the delegations taking part in the 12th session for the General Assembly of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI).
During the meeting, Al Maawali conveyed greetings and good wishes of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said to the Tunisian president and best wishes of further progress and prosperity to the brotherly Tunisian people.
On his part, the Tunisian president requested SFAI Chairman to convey his greetings to HM the Sultan and best wishes to His Majesty and the Omani people of further progress and growth under the wise leadership of HM the Sultan.
Sheikh Nasser bin Hilal bin Nasser Al Ma'awali, SFAI Chairman lead the Sultanate's delegation taking part in the 12th session for the General Assembly of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) held in the sisterly Republic of Tunisia from October 19 to 21.
Mohammed bin Hamdan Al Jabri, Director of Audit on Financial Affairs at the Directorate General for Audit on Capital, Economy and Infrastructure Sector at SFAI presented a working paper on the role of the state audit institutions in assessing the investment approach of the state's budget and the challenges facing audit institutions in assessing the final accounts and the effect on enhancing accountability and transparency in public finance management.
