Second edition of ISD Alumni Badminton Tournament on October 28

Muscat: The second-edition of ISD Alumni's annual badminton tournament will be held on October 28 at Indian School Darsait.
The tournament which will be sponsored by Shifa Al Jazeera Hospital and Polyclinic Group will witness former students of the school battling it out for the title.
The championship will be held in two categories — Men's Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
"For the first time, we have decided to give a chance to players outside ISD Alumni to take part in the Mixed Doubles but one of the player should be a member of the alumni," said Azeem Ashraf, organising committee member at ISD Alumni. Players outside the alumni will have to pay a registration fee of OMR 5.
"We have received an overwhelming response ever since we have announced the news on our official Facebook account," said Hala Jamal of ISD Alumni.
"We are extremely happy to support ISD Alumni for this initiative. We heard that their inaugural tournament which was held last year was a great success and we are happy to be part of the second edition," said Aslam Backer, Global Personal General Manager of Dr KT Rabeeullah, Chairman and Managing Director of Shifa Al Jazeera Group.
