Ahmedabad: An Indian national suspected of the murder of an entire Omani family has been arrested, according to Indian police reports posted online. The Gujarat anti-terrorist squad (ATS) detained the suspect in Ahmedabad, after a notice for arrest was posted on international police channels, including Interpol. Omani authorities had provided Indian police with details that led to his capture, according to a report in the Times of India.

The man is one of several people wanted in Oman for allegedly murdering five members of a family, including three children aged just 12, nine and six.
