Muscat: Oman has expressed its "deep regret" over the recent attacks at the state-owned Aramco facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Oman has also asked the special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary General to Yemen, Martin Griffith to invite all the parties involved for negotiations. A statement by Oman's Ministry of Foreign Affairs read: "The Sultanate expresses its deep regret over some power facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais being attacked. "This is an unnecessary escalation. "Oman also asks the special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary General to Yemen, Martin Griffith, to invite the different sides of the war in Yemen to negotiations to agree to end the conflict. "The Sultanate of Oman declares its support peace in Yemen," the statement added.
