Royal Oman Police arrests 12 expats for violating Omani laws

Muscat: Twelve expats have been arrested for violating Omani labour and residency laws in North Sharqiyah, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced on Wednesday.

A statement issued by ROP said: "North Sharqiyah Police Command arrested 12 expats for violating Omani labour and residence laws in the Sinaw area.”

Meanwhile, one person has been arrested for driving under the influence in Mudhaibi.

Legal proceedings against the accused are currently underway.
