Unfit food destroyed in Oman

Muscat: Municipal authorities have seized more than 30 kg of foodstuff, marked unfit for human consumption from the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

The Al Qabil Municipality said in a statement online, "Food Control Department carried out inspection visits which targeted food shops in the wilayat, where more than 11 establishments were visited, three violations were detected and 36 kilograms of food was destroyed."
