Muscat: Apple has drawn away the curtains from the new i Phone 11.

Officials from Apple have said that they tried to make the I Phone 11 cheaper than previous editions of the phone when they first came out.

Kaiann Drance, the iPhone Senior Director of Apple, said: "iPhone 11 offers so much meaningful innovation and we want more people to experience it.

"This is why we are offering the new iPhone for just $699," she added.

While Apple Oman has not given an exact price yet, Apple's region map claims that the iPhone 11 will be available in Oman on 27 September.

In the US, preorder begin on 13 September, with the phones being available on 20 September.

According to Drance, the iPhone 11 comes in 6 colours and adds more festures for photo-lovers.

Drance said: "The iPhone 11 comes in six new colours, with an all new purple, white, red, green, black, and red.

"We have an amazing dual-camera system with a new wide camera."

According to Apple presentations, the new camera includes a 12 MP wide camera, as well as another ultra wide camera with a 120 degree field of views.

Furthermore, Apple has said that the new Iphone's battery will be an improvement on previous editions.

A statement by Apple read: "iPhone 11 can charge up to 50 per cent in 30 minutes and is capable of playing back video for 17 hours."

The phone also boasts better water resistance than previous versions.

According to Drance, people can also take videos with the new Iphone by holding down the camera button while taking pictures, a feature she called 'Quick Pic'
