Guwahati: Oman stole a thrilling victory from the jaws of defeat by overcoming a 0-1 deficit against India at half-time to seal a thumping 2-1 victory over India. A brace by Rabia Alawi Al Mandhar in the 82nd and the 90th minute helped the visitors steal a victory from the hosts. Mandhar equalled the score in the 82nd minute with a beautiful lob that he put over the goalkeeper's head — who was charging towards him — to score. And in the 90th minute Al Mandhar cut in from the left and unleashed a shot that left the Indian goalkeeper dazed and confused. By half-time, India had taken the lead with a goal from Sunil Chhetri in the 24th minute. Oman remain unbeaten against India in FIFA-organised matches.
