Muscat: Passage to India notched a huge victory against Al Turki NMC in the Muscat Pharmacy sponsored Premier Division match played at the Al Amerat Ground.
Put into bat, Passage to India (PTI) scored 272 for 8 wkts in 50 overs with Jaymin Tailor (76: 85 balls) top scoring. Mohammed Saeed added quick fire 48 runs in 47 deliveries. Rohit Malik of Al Turki claimed 4 wickets for 64 runs.
Chasing the big total, Al Turki managed 170 for 9 in 50 overs after Bilal Khan and Al Turki (3 wickets each) ripped the top order to have them reeling at 67 for 9.
It need a fine century by Suraj Kumar (103 not out) to win Al Turki some respectability in the run chase.

In a E Division match, Bahihi defeated Al Fairuz by 126 runs at the Municipality Ground. Batting first, Bahihi scored 208 for 8 in 20 overs with Suraj Rao (46) top scoring.
Later Kishore Krishnan (5 for 10) helped Bahihi bowl out Al Fairuz for a paltry 82.

Mecamac Royals chased the score in 15.2 overs losing five wickets. Sajeev top scored 44 runs and Sami contributed 33.

Multi Pump Engineering edged past OCT Mabella winning the G Division match just by 6 runs.
Put into batc, Multi Pump Engineering scored 159 runs for 9 in 20 overs. Akhtar Ashraf scored a quick 68 runs in 49 balls and was helped by Asjad Shah, who scored 32 in just 18 balls. Asad Mohammed (4 for 30) and Shareef Pindok (3 for 21) were the best bowlers for the Mabella team, who fell short of target by 6 runs.
