Three held for facilitating exit of expats from Oman

Muscat: Three Asian nationals were arrested in Musandam for allegedly helping some expatriates to leave the country illegally, Royal Oman Police (ROP) said on Tuesday.
The ROP reported that one of the accused took advantage of his job at Khasab port to help them escape while the other two helped in transporting them to the airport. The three confessed to committing the crime and said they did it for money, according to ROP.

33 deported
Police deported 33 infiltrators of different Asian nationalities, Royal Oman Police reported on Tuesday.
An official source at ROP said the infiltrators were deported as per the legal procedures and after cooperation with their countries’ embassies.
