Oman weather: Rain floods wadis in Rustaq again

Muscat: For the second continuous day, wadis in Rustaq, some 132 kilometres from Muscat, are overflowing as heavy rain fell on Sunday also, a weather enthusiast said.
"Wadis are overflowing. Already there was water in the waids due to Saturday’s rain. It started to rain at around 3pm and very soon wadis started to overflow,” Bader Ali Al Baddaei, an administrator of www.rthmc.net, a local web-based forum that discusses weather in Oman, said.

Oman meteorology had forecast isolated rain and occasionally thundershowers over Al Hajar Mountains and adjoining willayat towards afternoon which may extend to coastal areas of Oman Sea.
More rain has been predicted by Oman meteorology on Monday and Tuesday too.
