Municipal teams destroy inedible meat in Oman

Muscat: Municipal inspection teams destroyed 52 kg of meat from a shop in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

The Municipality of North Al Sharqiyah said in a statement online: "The Department of Food Safety and Quality, in conjunction with the specialists in the municipality of Ibra, during evening visits to follow-up meat shops, seized meat stored anonymously in one of the shops estimated at 52 kg, the meat was destroyed and the department issued a health violation notice to the shop."
