Two arrested for theft, intimidation in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested two people in Al Batinah South governorate on charges of theft from a house and intimidating residents.

The ROP said in a statement online: "Barka Police Station, led by Al Batinah South Police, with the support of Al Rustaq Special Police Task Force, arrested a person for violating the sanctity of houses and intimidating residents."

In another case, Suwaiq police station arrested a person in charge of stealing from a house.

Legal proceedings are being completed against the accused.
