Oman participates in session of General Assembly of International Civil Defence Organisation

Geneva: The Sultanate of Oman participated in the work of the 27th session of the General Assembly of the International Civil Defence Organisation (ICDO), which commenced today at the Geneva International Conference Centre.

The Sultanate of Oman's delegation is headed by Maj. Gen Sulaiman Ali Al Hussaini, Chairman of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority.

The Sultanate of Oman's participation comes within the framework of its keenness to enhance international cooperation in the fields of civil defence, emergency response, and disaster management.

Idris Abdulrahman Al Khanjari, Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, participated in the session's work, alongside a number of officials from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority.
