Muscat: Oman is among 12 new destinations added to Explore's 2017-18 Family Adventures Programme.
Explore is a tour operator in the United Kingdom that has been running small group adventure holidays since 1981.
It has over 500 tours available in over 120 countries.
Besides Oman, Namibia and Mexico were also added in its latest travel brochure.
The Oman programme is a seven-day holiday that includes dolphin watching and camel riding.
It also includes road trips to Wadi Tiwi, Finns beach, Sur, Nizwa and Jabel Akhdar, in addition to tours inside the Grand mosque, Bait Al Baranda museum, Muttrah souq and many other iconic locations outside the capital.
"On this adventure, we discover the diverse landscpes of Oman from the soaring dunes of the Wahiba Sands and the Green Mountains of Jabel Akhdar to the royal capital of Muscat," the award winning tour leaders said.
The Family Adventures brochure contains a huge range of holidays designed specifically with families in mind.
Travellers can choose from wildlife, discovery and activity holidays throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas.
Describing Oman, the brochure says "A great adventure in Middle Eastern country that is lesser known than its neighbours."
