CDAA safely handles hazardous materials truck incident in Dhofar

Muscat: Teams from the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) responded to an incident involving a truck and trailer transporting hazardous materials (nitrogen) in Dhofar Governorate after the vehicle deteriorated.

Emergency responders secured the site and managed the situation in accordance with approved hazardous materials response procedures, while coordinating with the relevant authorities.

The CDAA confirmed that no leakage of the nitrogen substance was recorded, and the incident was brought under control safely without any reported release of hazardous material.
