Man arrested in Shinas for theft and burning of vehicle

Muscat: The North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command has arrested an individual for allegedly stealing several air conditioning and refrigeration units, electric generators, and a gas cylinder from multiple locations in the Wilayat of Shinas.

According to the Royal Oman Police, the suspect also caused a rented vehicle to catch fire after the stolen gas cylinder exploded inside the vehicle.

Legal procedures against the accused are currently being completed.
